Metrodome Distribution announces acquisition of Argentinean and Oscar short lister “The Secret In Their Eyes”

Metrodome Distribution has acquired UK rights to the outstanding Argentinean thriller “The Secret In Their Eyes” which has made the short list of 9 films in the Academy’s foreign language section. The deal was negotiated between Peter Urie (CEO), Sara Frain (General Manager Distribution), James Brown (Head of Acquisitions) for Metrodome and Massimo Saidel for sales agent Latido Films.

 

“The Secret In Their Eyes” directed by Juan Jose Campanella recently swept the board at the 2009 Argentina Academy Awards winning in 13 categories out of 17 nominations including prizes for Best Film, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. It has also been a huge local hit and the best performance of a local picture since 1970.

Metrodome plan to release in summer 2010.
